Whooper Swans

      55 Whooper Swans on the fields at the south end with 14 Mute Swans, Greylag Goose, 400 Golden Plovers, 120 Lapwings and 70 Curlews.   On the flashes and scrape were 75 Teal, 7 Little Grebes, 3 Cormorants, Common Snipe and 2 Little Egrets.   The Water Pipit was on the outmarsh again along with 5 Rock Pipits, 30 Snow Buntings and 2 Jack Snipe.   350 Brent Geese and 21 Cormorants on the shore and 7 Red-throated Divers north at sea.
