At Quad 3 the only birds of note were 250 Brent Geese, 400 Wood Pigeons, 50 Curlews, 2 Cormorants and a Great Spotted Woodpecker.

 Stonebridge to Pye's Hall was rather uneventful this morning. 1,800 Knot, 70 Dunlin, 10 Sanderlings, 43 Redshanks, 38 Curlews, 17 Turnstones, 80 Lapwings, 140 Pink-footed Geese, 110 Brent Geese, 2 pale-bellied Brent Geese, 34 Shelducks, 40 Mallard, 8 Teal, Red-throated Diver, 6 Cormorants, 3 Little Egrets, 2 Kestrels, Merlin, 44 Rock Pipits, Lapland Bunting, 40 Goldfinches aand 7 Reed Buntings.

13 Waxwings by the church in Church End at 1430.

 The count for today was the WeBS count between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall. 950 Knot, 140 Redshanks, 27 Turnstones, 440 Dunlin, 11 Curlews, 9 Grey Plovers, 470 Oystercatchers, 64 Bar-tailed Godwits, 60 Sanderling, 120 Lapwings, 80 Mallard, 31 Teal, 30 Shelducks, 135 Brent Geese, 4 Cormorants, 5 Little Egrets, Grey Heron, 3 Little Grebes, 26 Rock Pipits, 3 Lapland Buntings, 10 Reed Buntings, 12 Twite, 2 Merlins, 2 Kestrels and a Short-eared Owl.

Best birds at Quad 3 today were 14 Whooper Swans, 36 Curlews, 29 Lapwings, 26 Redshanks, Turnstone, 10 Bar-tailed Godwits, 75 Dunlin, 143 Sanderlings, 9 Grey Plovers, 42 Teal, 4 Shelducks, 15 Wigeon, one Velvet Scoter, Great Crested Grebe, 8 Red-throated Divers, 39 Cormorants, 4 Shags, 365 Brent Geese, 5 Rock Pipits, Merlin, Sparrowhawk, Barn Owl, Water Rail and Woodcock.

At Quad 3 this morning were 300 Brent Geese, 18 Pink-footed Geese, 14 Whooper Swans, 5 Mute Swans, 24 Lapwings, 60 Golden Plovers, 6 Redshanks, 2 Little Egrets, 2 Woodcocks, 4 Rock Pipits, 4 Song Thrushes, 9 Blackbirds, 4 Fieldfares, Great Spotted Woodpecker, 39 Goldfinches, Barn Owl and a 2nd cy male Hen Harrier. No sign of the Lanner-type.
There were also 3 Waxwings in Marsh Lane.

Between Stonebridge and on to Pye's Hall this morning:   waders were 455 Redshanks, 41 Curlews, 120 Sanderlings, 1,000 Knot, 350 Dunlin, 38 Grey Plovers, 3 Bar-tailed Godwits, 33 Turnstones, 350 Oystercatchers, 8 Ruffs, 250 Golden Plovers and 150 Lapwings. Wildfowl were 120 Teal, 9 Mallard, 181 Shelducks and a Whooper Swan. Other birds of note were 6 Cormorants, 4 Little Grebes, Peregrine, Merlin, Hen Harrier, Common Buzzard, Little Owl, Barn Owl, 60 Goldfinches, 32 Twite, Waxwing and 95 Fieldfares.
At Quad 3 yesterday, there was a 'Lanner-type' falcon.

Not a lot to report from Quad 3. Best were 9 Blackbirds, 3 Waxwings, Chiffchaff, Woodcock, Merlin, Common Buzzard, 350 Golden Plovers, 14 Whooper Swans, 11 Mute Swans, 12 Teal, 8 Cormorants, 3 Red-throated Divers, 70 Oystercatchers, 20 Bar-tailed Godwits and 25 Knot.

It was certainly crisp today. Between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall were a 1stW Glaucous Gull, 6 Twite, 35 Snow Buntings, 60 Goldfinches, 15 Chaffinches, 30 Rock Pipits, 4 Reed Buntings, a Corn Bunting, 4 Robins, 2 Song Thrushes, 7 Blackbirds, 48 Skylarks, 7 Red-legged Partridges, Hen Harrier, 325 Golden Plovers, 6 Grey Plovers, 60 Lapwings, 1,000 Knot, 250 Dunlin, 20 Sanderlings, 25 Turnstones, 33 Curlews, 235 Redshanks, 420 Oystercatchers, 5 Bar-tailed Godwits, 5 Little Egrets, 2 Little Grebes, Red-throated Diver, 8 Cormorants, 470 Brent Geese, 79 Shelducks, 56 Mallard and 122 Teal.

The male Ring Ouzel which has been present since 12th November reappeared in its original spot at Quad 3 after not being seen for a few days. Also of note were 6 Song Thrushes, male Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Goldcrest, 6 Long-tailed Tits, 14 Whooper Swans and 11 Mute Swans. At sea, between 0915 and 1030 were 8 Cormorants, 3 Great Crested Grebes, 11 Red-throated Divers, 2 Great Northern Divers, 150 Common Scoters, 35 Teal, 4 Red-breasted Mergansers and a Goldeneye. Waders included 115 Knot, 30 Dunlin, 33 Sanderlings and 57 Bar-tailed Godwits.
