Yellow-browed Warbler.
Highlights between the RAF base and Pye's Hall recorded by CA and GPC were 4 Yellow-browed Warblers, one Jack Snipe, 2 Pintail, one Merlin and one Short-eared Owl. 15 Pink-footed Geese flew south. There were at least 2 more Yellow-browed Warblers at the south end and one of these was trapped and ringed. Also noted were 7 Long-tailed Tits, 5 Goldcrests, 12 Robins, one Tree Sparrow, 4 Lesser Redpolls, 3,000 Starlings, one Greenshank, 2,500 Golden Plovers and 3 Common Buzzards.
