Not many birds were seen in the strong north-westerly wind.    On the fields were 185 Golden Plovers, 65 Lapwings, 24 Curlews and a Common Buzzard.    On the dunes, migrants were down to 2 Goldcrests, one Chiffchaff, 12 Robins, one Fieldfare, 2 Redwings, 2 Song Thrushes, one Great Spotted Woodpecker and one Merlin.
