On the fields at the south end were 1,700 Golden Plovers, 117 Lapwings, 26 Curlews, 2 Pied Wagtails and a Common Buzzard.   Migrants on the dunes were 20 Blackbirds, 10 Redwings, 2 Song Thrushes, 15 Robins, 12 Goldcrests, one Blackcap, 15 Chaffinches, one Lapland Bunting and 2 Sparrowhawks.    195 Brent Geese were on the shore with 11 Shelducks, 6 Cormorants and a Rock Pipit.   110 Herring Gulls flew south.
