The Blue-winged Teal was still present, but fewer other ducks were seen, hence only 12 Teal, 20 Mallard, 6 Shelducks, Greylag Goose and 21 Mute Swans. Also along the flashes and marshes were 6 Little Egrets, 2 Grey Herons, Cormorant, 2 Common Snipe, 12 Coots, Little Grebe, White Wagtail and Yellow Wagtail. Other summer visitors were 15 Swallows, 10 Common Whitethroats, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, Chiffchaff, 2 Willow Warblers, Grasshopper Warbler, 2 Sedge Warblers and a Ring Ouzel. On the fields were 300 Linnets, 2 Corn Buntings, 17 Shelducks and a Common Buzzard. 113 Sanderling were on the tide-line at high tide.
