A wet and windy morning and remaining very blustery in the sunny, but cold afternoon.   Birds at the south end included 4 Common Buzzards, 8 Grey Herons, 3 Little Egrets, 20 Tufted Ducks, Water Rail, 4 Green Sandpipers, Blackcap, Wheatear, 2 Corn Buntings, 30 Dunlin, 29 Sanderlings and 21 Curlews.
         Between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall and on the realignment area CA and JF recorded 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 40 Twite, 4+ Common Snipe, 2 Jack Snipe, a Swallow and a Chiffchaff.  Colin and Sheila Jennings added a Great Grey Shrike and 2 Chiffchaffs.
