The first Shore Lark of the autumn was on the beach at the south end with a Skylark, and eventually both birds flew along the shore towards Stonebridge. 50 Whooper Swans still on the coastal fields and 12 Pink-footed Geese flew NW. On the dunes were 2 Common Buzzards, Water Rail, Kingfisher, 25 Blackbirds, 8 Redwings and 2 Goldcrests. Single Gannets passed north and south at sea while onshore were 550 Oystercatchers, 23 Curlews, 5 Sanderlings, 12 Dunlin and 8 Shelducks.
