Strong winds and continuous rain resulted in hardly anything being recorded this morning. Poor visibility meant seawatching from the dunes produced only a Gannet and a Cormorant, while on the mudflats were 148 Dunlin and 36 Sanderlings. 70 Lapwings and 60 Golden Plovers were on the coastal fields. In the evening, there was a Firecrest in the front hedge of my garden.
