33 Whooper Swans were on the fields at the south end.    Fewer birds were seen on the dunes, the best being 12 Long-tailed Tits, 5 Tree Sparrows, Goldcrest, 50 Meadow Pipits, 3 Sparrowhawks, Merlin, 24 Lapwings, Water Rail, 2 Tufted Ducks and 5 Little Egrets.   On the shore were 104 Curlews, 61 Oystercatchers, 50 Sanderlings and 350 Dunlin.
