No sign of the Black Brant between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall where 251 Brent Geese were present.   A further 1,000 not examined closely were on land to the NW outside the area.   Other birds seen on the shore included 181 Shelducks, 18 Mallard, 20 Teal, 230 Redshanks, 150 Oystercatchers, 350 Dunlin, 330 Knot, 40 Grey Plovers, 220 Sanderlings, 55 Lapwings, 4 Turnstones, 10 Little Egrets and 13 Cormorants.
      Also of note were 9 Fieldfares, 15 Blackbirds, 65 Goldfinches, 11 Rock Pipits, 35 Skylarks, 6 Yellowhammers, 8 Corn Buntings, 24 Stock Doves, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel  and 8 Little Grebes.
