46 Whooper Swans on the fields with 16 Mute Swans.   On the dunes and along the flashes were 10 Mallard, 10 Teal, 2 Tufted Ducks, 2 Little Grebes, Common Buzzard, 2 Stonechats and a Mistle Thrush.   Sea passage around the low tide period was confined to southerly movement of ca. 550 Herring Gulls, 250 Great Black-backed Gulls, 2 Shelducks and a Red-throated Diver.   Birds onshore included 260 Sanderlings, 200 Dunlin, 130 Knot, 113 Bar-tailed Godwits, 6 Curlews, 9 Redshanks, 10 Grey Plovers, 4 Turnstones and 12 Cormorants.   300 Brent Geese, 20 Linnets and 40 Snow Buntings were on the salicornia beds.
