      At the south end this morning, a seawatch was abandoned after only 45 minutes when just 50 Teal flew north and 4 Goldeneye south during persistent aircraft activity.   On the shore were 152 Curlews and 122 Sanderlings.   Apart from a Fieldfare and 10 Blackbirds, there was very little in the bushes.   7 Little Grebes, 13 Teal and 9 Redshanks on the flashes and 2 Common Buzzards, 42 Whooper Swans, 15 Mute Swans, 24 Lapwings and 70 Golden Plovers on the fields.

      At Stonebridge in the afternoon, highlights were 320 Brent Geese, 30 Pink-footed Geese, 125 Shelducks, 250 Knot, 37 Dunlin, 150 Redshanks, 430 Lapwings and 27 Turnstones.
