Southerly passage along the dunes during a strong south-westerly this afternoon involved 55 Swallows, 6 House Martins, 3 Sand Martins, 12 Common Swifts, a Whimbrel and 11 Lesser Black-backed Gulls.   Other birds of note were 4 Wheatears, Yellow Wagtail, Spotted Flycatcher, 3 Corn Buntings and a Water Rail.
