A very blustery morning at the south end where few changes were apparent. A superb male Whinchat was new and other migrants of note included 2 Turtle Doves, only 10 Swallows today, a House Martin and 3 Sand Martins. On the flashes were 12 Shelducks, 9 Tufted Ducks, a Canada Goose and 9 Little Egrets. Four Corn Buntings and singles of Pied Wagtail and Yellow Wagtail on the fields while raptors were 2 Kestrels, one Sparrowhawk and 2 Common Buzzards.
Five Gannets flew south over the sea and 12 Sanderlings on the tide-line.
