Moving north or NW were 2 Marsh Harriers, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 30 Swallows, 6 House Martins and 10 Common Swifts.   A fine Red-throated Diver in summer plumage flew south offshore.    Two Whimbrel were on the sandflats.
         The best birds on the dunes were 3 Common Buzzards, 3 Kestrels and 5 Corn Buntings.
