A skein of Pink-footed Geese was heard, but was blocked from view by trees.   Night migrants seen today were 4 Whinchats, Wheatear, 12 Robins, 3 Song Thrushes, Blackcap and 2 Chiffchaffs.   A party of ca.30 Magpies represented a significant increase and a single Jay was present nearby.   Other birds of note were a Grey Wagtail which flew south, 30 Golden Plovers, 22 Lapwings, 27 Curlews, 25 Sanderlings, 15 Dunlin, 550 Oystercatchers, Common Snipe and Common Buzzard.
