A Muntjac born and raised in my garden in Marsh Lane.


      A damp start to September with long periods of drizzle until mid-afternoon.   An afternoon visit to the south end was not very productive, the best birds being 2 Marsh Harriers, 950 Golden Plovers, 80 Lapwings, 32 Curlews, 200 Dunlin, 50 Sanderlings, 5 Redshanks, Green Sandpiper, Common Snipe, 15 Teal, 5 Little Egrets, 2 Yellow Wagtails and 65 Meadow Pipits.
