Redshank and Greenshank.

         A sub-adult Yellow-legged Gull was on the shore with 10 Sandwich Terns and 4 Bar-tailed Godwits.   The best birds on the dunes were 20 Common Whitethroats, 2 Willow Warblers and a juvenile Cuckoo.   On the flashes were 7 Redshanks, 3 Greenshanks, a Spotted Redshank, 2 Green Sandpipers, one Common Sandpiper, one Little Ringed Plover, one Dunlin, 2 Curlews, 4 Teal and 3 Little Egrets.   At least 10 Kestrels and 4 Common Buzzards hunting or thermalling over the fields where there were 135 Golden Plovers.
