The Black Brant was showing well on the mudflats at Pye's Hall with 700 Brent Geese and a pale-bellied Brent Goose. Other wildfowl were 250 Shelducks, 55 Mallard and 40 Teal. Waders seen were 220 Redshanks, 520 Oystercatchers, 2 Turnstones, 900 Knot, 400 Dunlin, 18 Curlews, 10 Bar-tailed Godwits, 30 Grey Plovers, Common Snipe, Woodcock, 40 Golden Plovers and 35 Lapwings.
Also of note were 7 Little Egrets, 4 Cormorants, 16 Rock Pipits, 2 Lapland Buntings, 42 Goldfinches, 120 Skylarks, 100 Fieldfares, 35 Blackbirds, Mistle Thrush, 2 Redwings and a Merlin.
42 Whooper Swans on the southern fields.
