At the south end this morning were 50 Whooper Swans, 15 Mute Swans, 39 Teal, 14 Mallard, 75 Curlews,45 Lapwings, 45 Golden Plovers, Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Barn Owl, 7 Blackbirds and a Song Thrush.
An afternoon visit between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall produced 910 Oystercatchers, 20 Curlews, 120 Knot, 75 Redshanks, 230 Dunlin, 60 Grey Plovers, 570 Golden Plovers, 40 Bar-tailed Godwits, 380 Lapwings, 14 Turnstones, 124 Shelducks, 70 Mallard, 43 Teal, 90 Brent Geese, 4 Cormorants, Little Egret, 75 Goldfinches, 10 Blackbirds, Song Thrush and Redwing.
