Things seem to be quietening down now. Moving south were 27 Swallows, 2 House Martins and 33 Swifts. Other birds included 2 Willow Warblers, 2 Reed Warblers, 2 Blackcaps, 5 Corn Buntings, 2 Yellow Wagtails, Cuckoo, Common Buzzard, 7 Little Egrets, 2 Canada Geese, 7 Tufted Ducks, 8 Sanderlings, 4 Oystercatchers and 2 Cormorants.
One lucerne field was cut on Saturday which means that the current nesting of two pairs of Corn Buntings has been thwarted.
