A lot of my regular census area will be out of bounds for some time, so results for some species are not comparable to previous counts. This morning, I saw 180 Pinkfeet heading south, 440 Brent Geese, 30 Lapwings, 42 Curlews, 15 Redshanks, 17 Oystercatchers, 25 Sanderlings, 20 Dunlin, Great Northern Diver, 3 Little Grebes and 8 Blackbirds.
At least the diesel generators have been winched out and recovered from the flash without causing any pollution.
