      At the south end this morning there was southerly passage of 13 Common Buzzards, 7 Kestrels, Peregrine, 2 Sparrowhawks,19 Greenfinches, 3 Chaffinches, 45 Linnets, 21 Goldfinches, Pied Wagtail and 4 Grey Wagtails.   Also of note were 19 Common Snipe, Jack Snipe, 143 Lapwings, 40 Golden Plovers, 21 Curlews, Great Spotted Woodpecker, 140 Meadow Pipits, Rock Pipit, 45 Reed Buntings, 10 Long-tailed Tits and a Stonechat.

      Between the Ponderosa and the north end of the realignment area, Chris Atkin, Chris Heaton and Mark Johnson recorded a Yellow-browed Warbler, 2 Chiffchaffs, 3 Goldcrests, 2 Stonechats, Wheatear, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Kingfisher, 4 Common Buzzards, Peregrine, 3 Merlins, Goosander and 3 Greenshanks.
