Much better conditions today after yesterday's blustery wind. An
Icterine Warbler was trapped and ringed in the willow hedge at the south end this morning. A few more migrants were apparent, hence 15 Common Whitethroats, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, Garden Warbler, 4 Reed Warblers, 9 Willow Warblers, Redstart and Robin. Other birds of note included a Great Spotted Woodpecker, Water Rail, Common Buzzard, 2 Common Sandpipers and 2 Green Sandpipers.
