The WeBS count at Donna Nook today was fairly unremarkable. In the early afternoon, Chris Heaton found a male Red-backed Shrike at Pye's Hall and Barrie Clarkson was able to photograph the bird shortly afterwards. However, Mark Johnson, Phil Espin and S Lorand were unable to locate it later in the afternoon, despite extensive searching.
