A two hour seawatch saw southward passage of 540 Common Scoters, 10 Gannets, 56 Sandwich Terns, one Little Tern, 4 Common Terns, 3 Arctic Terns, 2 Little Gulls and a Peregrine.   Onshore were 9 Cormorants, 400 Black-headed Gulls, 29 Dunlin, 81 Sanderlings, 22 Knot, one Turnstone, 47 Curlews, one Bar-tailed Godwit and 4 Oystercatchers.   20 Swallows and 12 Sand Martins flew north over the sandflats and 41 Swallows and one Sand Martin south.   The only birds of note on the dunes were a Sparrowhawk, Corn Bunting, Grey Heron, Little Egret and 3 Tufted Ducks.
