Just after high tide this morning there were northerly movements of 720 Common Scoters, 190 Wigeon, 170 Teal, 2 Shelducks  and an Arctic Skua.   Onshore were 55 Curlews, Whimbrel, 5 Bar-tailed Godwits, 20 Dunlin and 173 Oystercatchers.

      Grounded migrants included 70 Meadow Pipits, Yellow Wagtail, 5 Whinchats, Wheatear, 3 Common Whitethroats, 4 Lesser Whitethroats, Blackcap, 2 Willow Warblers, 3 Robins, Goldcrest and 2 Pied Flycatchers.   Also of note were 3 Kestrels, Peregrine, Tawny Owl, 150 Golden Plovers and 4 Little Egrets.
