Pallas's Warbler

It was difficult to find birds in the bushes at the south end in the strong and blustery SSW wind, hence just 2 Willow Warblers, 2 Common Whitethroats, Reed Warbler, Tree Pipit, Pied Flycatcher, Robin, Hobby and Cuckoo. Also recorded were 200 Swallows, mainly north, 5 House Martins, 2 Sand Martins, 2 Pied Wagtails, Sparrowhawk, 4 Grey Partridges, 5 Little Egrets, 13 Teal, Common Sandpiper, Ruff and 17 Lapwings. On the shore were 5 Sandwich Terns, 5 Common Terns, 1,000 Black-headed Gulls, 3 Cormorants, 28 Curlews, 74 Sanderlings and 85 Dunlin.
