At Pye's Hall in the late afternoon and early evening after the rain there was no trace of the shrike today, but following up to high tide were  370 Black-headed Gulls, an adult Mediterranean Gull, 33 Sandwich Terns, 10 Common Terns, 150 Oystercatchers, 25 Redshanks, 2 Greenshanks, one Common Sandpiper, 47 Golden Plovers, 35 Bar-tailed Godwits, 8 Whimbrels, 104 Curlews, 26 Knot, 105 Dunlin, 15 Sanderlings, 160 Common Scoters, 10 Mallard, one Tufted Duck, 2 Cormorants, one Little Egret, one Grey Heron, 120 Swallows, 12 Yellow Wagtails, one Cuckoo, one Kestrel and one Red-legged Partridge.
