Today was very quiet on the dunes with 2 Wheatears, 3 Kestrels and a Great Spotted Woodpecker being the only noteworthy birds. At sea over the high tide period were 54 Sandwich Terns, 15 Common Terns, 5 Arctic Terns, 23 Cormorants, one Arctic Skua, one Fulmar, 28 Gannets, 3 Red-throated Divers, 4 Guillemots, 2 Wigeon, 9 Common Scoters and 15 Teal. The only waders were 20 Knot, 31 Curlews, 8 Oystercatchers, 3 Bar-tailed Godwits and 4 Sanderling.
