Best birds between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall this morning were 20 Swifts, 220 Swallows, 2 Sand Martins, 5 Kestrels, 45 Common Scoters, one Eider, 470 Dunlin, 45 Sanderling, 194 Oystercatchers, 152 Golden Plovers, one Grey Plover, one Whimbrel, 13 Curlews, 3 Redshanks, 10 Little Egrets, 8 Sandwich Terns, 320 Black-headed Gulls and 25 Cormorants.

At sea moving north were 130 Common Scoters, 3 Eiders and a Cormorant, while 4 Cormorants came in from the sea and continued SW inland. One Guillemot on the sea whilst onshore were 137 Sandwich Terns, 6 Common Terns, 33 Black-headed Gulls, 7 Oystercatchers, 97 Curlews, 55 Sanderlings and 2 Dunlin. There was also a juvenile Marsh Harrier, Sparrowhawk, 2 Little Egrets, 8 Canada Geese, 2 Pied Wagtails and 2 Yellow Wagtails on the land.

Between Stonebridge and Pye's today were 64 Swallows, 5 Swifts, 8 Oystercatchers, 2 Cormorants, 2 Kestrels, one Short-eared Owl and a Red-legged Partridge with 8 newly-hatched young.

Very little of note between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall this morning. A Painted Lady was best, otherwise just 30 Swifts, 25 Swallows and a House Martin NW, 2 Cuckoos, one Yellow Wagtail and 4 Little Egrets
